It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

And where might I end up tonight? At a club? On a dinner date? At a vegan potluck that is unbeknownst to me a meeting for members of a cooperative farm? This outfit can be swung at any occasion. Happy Friday!

Cocktail Oufit

I attended the Keshet Cabaret last night and was excited to get to wear my new Topman pants again. I’d also like to note that I got new black socks from American Apparel and they are really comfy and well-priced! So I’d recommend something like this for your next queer cocktail party.

Sonia and Ashley’s Picks: Favorite Watches

Looking for a new watch? Our picks  ranging from $65 to $380  will give you some ideas on adding some statement to you rocking outfit. From sporty to sleek to classic, these brands are the ones that inspire our fashion aesthetics.

1. 666 Barcelona, Colour Triple Time Zone ($170)

Comfortable and durable. Every time I look at it I feel like I’m diving into a sea of beauty. Every time people ask me what the other time zones are set to, I pretend to have clients in Australia and Japan. You can see me wearing this minimalist triple timezone gem here.

2. Rosendahl Flemming Bo Hansen QA Analog Plain Face Wrist Watch ($380)

As simple as it gets. Can you read it? Doesn’t even matter.

3. G-shock, Classic Casino ($110)

The ultimate sport watch. Some inner working are actually floating inside to shell so that it can absorb shock. The thing apparently never breaks, so it’s a good bet if you like to skateboard/snowboard/bike/swim/throw yourself off planes. See Ashley sporting it here.

4. Braun ($215)

A sleek square face giving you some personality but away from the limelight. Featured in this post.

5. Diesel ($295)

If badass means having a watch that tells time 4 different ways, I want in!

6. Tikkr ($65)

Simple, comfy, and lots of colors with exchangeable bands! Wonderfully unisex. See me in it.

7. Rolex Submariner (don’t ask)

It’s always nice to dream.

What are your favorite watches? Leave it in the comments.

Preppy Queer

I’m convinced it’s the gay kids who revived the preppy style in the 2000s.

The Power of Simplicity

If you find clothes that fit you really well, let them speak for themselves. It’s not called “The Perfect Shirt” for nothing. Throw on an accent piece whenever you feel like it, and you’re good to go bring your lady out on the town, enjoy a nice dinner out with your family, or even meet someone for a casual business meeting. This outfit has no bounds.

Pulling Off the Tomboy Look

I am always looking for ways to make myself appear more masculine, despite my curvy body. In order for me to pull off the tomboy look, it seems as though I need to wear tomboy colors, like cool blues and warm reds. Wearing a big watch also draws attention away from my feminine figure (where as a guy’s necklace would just bring it out more).

Heading to Work

If you dress this well, the women in your workplace won’t be able to stop gazing over your stylish physique. But be careful - office romance can get tricky. If you prefer to avoid the drama of an interoffice affair, match your outfit with a stare so intimidating that those who are fawning over you will be too shy to approach. Lucky for me, I freelance and don’t have an office, so I don’t have to worry about shaking off the ladies.

Warm Summer Night

I’m trying to hype up the masculinity in my look and tone down the femininity, so I want to wear clothes that defeminize my figure. The epic threads shirts are cut for teenage boys, and accent my shoulders rather than my boobs. These shorts, though made for women, do a good job at slimming my hips.

Trying out the Ashley Yielding Shot. It works!!

SOMEONE wants to be in the photoshoot!
