Wow, jeans, converse, and polos to work? Sounds great! So it’s in the 80’s (F) all year round. Let’s get some dress shorts. My beloved Old Navy Bermudas only come in 3 colors this year (view this post)… but I have some from Banana Republic that I got last year on sale and they fit in a straight up-and-down way and have really nice fabric. I also can’t help but recommend the shorts from the store with whom I have been having an intimate love affair for the past 6 months:

I know what you mean. If you’re femme you can just throw on a summer dress but if you want to look androgynous it’s harder to work around curves when there are less layers. My favorite thing are boy’s T-Shirts because they fit me well and bring attention away from my chest (I’ve modeled a lot of Macy’s on here but just discovered Old Navy.) For shorts I really like Old Navy’s Khaki Bermudas. (I model both things here.) I also got some great men’s Gant Rugger shorts on sale, to model soon. For nicer occasions you can wear the shorts with a button-up with the sleeves rolled up and a tie. Ashley likes to buy jeans and cut off the bottoms and she wears a lot of tank tops from Urban Outfitters (see here). Oh and um… boat shoes.

Natalie (http://nattyv.tumblr.com/) just makes me want to take a nice walk through the breezy fall weather and reflect upon the fact that I’m not in school. Since her glasses pop out, she made a smart decision to have more simple pieces in her wardrobe. Also, she is yet another example of a femme who looks queer by incorporating the accent pieces: vests and suspenders; two things every queer girl should have in her wardrobe. Slip ‘em on, and you’re instantly dykified.
